Welcome and do take a look at my photography journey, a journey I took just as an escape, to get away from the chaos of the concrete jungle and there in the wilderness I found my calling.
I was born and brought up in the lap of the Himalayas and after living in various countries I have finally made Delhi, the capital of India my home.
Before June 2011, like any other tourist, I loved to click here and there and my greatest fascination was for Gothic architecture. In February 2011, I had some time to kill and just out of curiosity I went to Kaziranga National Park, in the State of Assam, India. There I fell in love with the jungle. Next, I went to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh, India, where that one look at a tiger called Bamera and that eyeball to eyeball with the one-eyed tigress Kankatti and I fell blissfully in love with these majestic animals. In Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan, India, after getting up from the lake, tigress T17 headed straight towards me. She came and smelled the wheel of the vehicle I was in – just on the left side from where I was sitting! For me, a person who did not know a thing about tigers, she did something out of the ordinary, which changed my life – she raised her head and with her chin held high, looked straight into my eyes. I gave up my job and blissfully followed towards my heart’s pull.
Thank you for taking out time to have a look at my happiness, my joy, my pride, my way of life….
